Producer Teddy Riley tweets that he believes Michael Jackson is alive and hiding

Here’s one for all those who love a good conspiracy theory: a former Michael Jackson produce, Teddy Riley, is going public on Twitter with his belief that the King of Pop is alive and hiding, just like Elvis Presley.

Though the idea that Michael might have staged his own death to rid himself of creditors and, most importantly, unwanted media attention, is not new, this is probably the first time that a public figure goes on the record with it.

TMZ notes that one fan wrote to Riley on his Twitter page in reference to a comment Akon made days ago, according to which Michael did not die in the summer of 2009 as the entire world believes.

“Akon said he believes Michael is in hiding and will be coming back one day. Im curious to know what ya think bout that,” the fan asked Riley.

The producer, who worked with Michael on “Dangerous” and produced the much-debated new release “Breaking News,” replied to the tweet, leaving absolutely no room for doubts or questions.

“AKON IS MY FRIEND AND WE THINK ALIKE,” Riley tweeted back. And he didn’t stop here either: apparently, Michael could be in hiding, just like Elvis Presley.

“You know people are so [expletive]-ing anal. If people can think Elvis is still alive why the [expletive] I cant [sic] think Michael is still alive,” Riley tweeted.

This, of course, will do nothing in terms of settling the controversy on the singer’s death, since there still are many who believe, as noted above, that he might have staged it because he wanted to be out of the public eye for once and for all.

As we also informed you back in August 2009, a video surfaced online that reportedly showed Michael, alive and well, getting out of the Coroner’s van and slipping through a back door, after he’d made sure paparazzi had photographed him supposedly “dead.”

Moreover, Michael and Elvis aren’t the only huge stars believed to have acted this way in a bid to literally get their life back: earlier that same year, photos of a living and breathing Tupac popped up online, “infirming” news of his death.
