Marcin Kruczkiewicz, a producer working on Hellraid at Techland, says that the new Game Master mode for the cooperative game will introduce enough random elements to make the game almost infinitely replayable.

He tells VG247 that Game Master “spawns different sets and types of enemies, places loot and treasures on the map as well as generates random competitive challenges when playing with friends.”

The mode is at the moment in early development and the Techland team might change aspects of it before release.

The team also promises more character development for Hellraid when compared to Dead Island.

Each of the four classes will have a specific skill set, some passive and some active, and collaboration between them will be crucial for success in the game.

Hellraid will be launched both digitally and in stores in 2014.
