Sebastian Enrique, a producer working on the upcoming FIFA 14, believes that the football simulation can easily surpass the sales performance of the previous installment in the series.

He tells MCV that, “We have a very strong feature set so I am very confident that we can do better in terms of sales and numbers than FIFA 13.”

From its late September launch date and until the end of 2012, FIFA 13 managed to move about 12 million units to fans, on the PC, home consoles and other devices.

FIFA 14 was revealed late last week and will focus on increasing the realism level of the series, with features like Pure Shot and Protect the Ball.

The game will also introduce a mysterious new social multiplayer mode alongside the old Ultimate Team.
