SpaceX is currently holding on deploying the solar array

The Dragon capsule, carrying precious supplies and experiments to the International Space Station, has reached orbit after launch in its second resupply mission.

However, there seems to have been some problems shortly after it separated from its rocket, there are no details about what happened.

"Issue with Dragon thruster pods. System inhibiting three of four from initializing. About to command inhibit override," Elon Musk tweeted a short while ago.

The problems occurred just ahead of the time the Dragon capsule was supposed to stretch its solar array.

It's unclear right now whether the mission is in danger or the problem can be fixed or worked around.

From Musk's tweet it seems that the problem is with the thrusters. Since he hints that the decision may be made to override the inhibitors which prevented the thrusters from launching.

"Holding on solar array deployment until at least two thruster pods are active," Musk just tweeted.

"About to pass over Australia ground station and command inhibit override," he said in his latest update.

Update: "Thruster pod 3 tank pressure trending positive. Preparing to deploy solar arrays," Musk tweeted. It looks like the problem is being fixed.

Update 2: SpaceX eventually managed to take back control over the Dragon and continue with the planned mission.

"Thruster pods one through four are now operating nominally. Preparing to raise orbit. All systems green," Musk said in his final update.
