A number of players who are engaged with the Player versus Player aspect of the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic have reported a number of issues with the planet Ilum, saying that kills are sometimes not registered and that daily and weekly quests requirements cannot be met and no rewards are offered.

It seems that the problems are linked to the higher than normal number of players who are now taking part in PvP because they have seen all the Player versus Environment content that the BioWare made MMO has to offer.

Problems with Ilum have been reported since the MMO was launched and BioWare has promised to fix them all with each released update, including 1.1.2.

Joveth Gonzales, who is a developer working on the game, has stated that BioWare is now looking into the issue and that they are apparently pretty close to finding the cause and creating a solution, although it is not clear when a patch might be released.
