Video game publisher Konami has announced that it has entered into an agreement with the Asian Football Confederation, which will see the AFC Champions League included in all future Pro Evolution Soccer video games.

The competition will get a dedicated game mode, with players choosing to control one of the 32 qualified teams before fighting to get the prestigious cup, according to VG247.

The AFC Champions League will be included alongside the Copa Libertadores, which Konami holds exclusive rights to at the moment.

The next Pro Evolution Soccer video game will be powered by the all-new Fox Engine from Kojima Productions and will probably be launched in the fall.

The development team has not offered any clear details on the defining features of the title.

It will face strong competition from the recently announced FIFA 14.
