Konami Digital
Entertainment and Reebok signed a contract for the sixth installment of the Pro Evolution Soccer 6 series. This deal will allow Reebok to display its brand with the game and to work with Konami for the games' marketing and promotional campaigns.

Pro Evolution Soccer 6 is due to be released on Playstation 2, Xbox 360 and PC on October 26. Versions for PSP and Nintendo DS will follow shortly. Through this collaboration, Reebok will be able to integrate in the PES 6 game, branded balls and trophies. As Reebok is currently undergoing a new European football marketing campaign, this new advertising opportunity comes just in the nick of time and allows the sports goods distributor to appeal to a new kind of audience, gamers.

PES has a feature which is not present in any other soccer simulator. Gamers are able to reincarnate retired players as 17 year old rookies that can be found in the Newcomers section. Players are able to see soccer like Maradona, Pele or Van Basten, in the prime of their youth. They can opt to shape and guide their careers from that point on.

The next installment, number 6 in the series, will feature more licensed teams, new hairstyles and outfits for the players as well as an improved Master League.
