The development team at Konami working on Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 is ready to reveal all the core features that will be part of the new title, with “The Pitch Is Ours” being the tagline of the football sim that aims to offer solid competition to FIFA 15 from EA Sports.

The two teams working on the game, one in Tokyo and the other in Windsor, are aiming to deliver a game that can recreate the drama and the tension associated with a big football match in the real world.

On the pitch, the main changes for PES 2015 are new improved response times, which allow players to react intuitively to the flow of the game, better on the ball abilities for all players, who now have access to their own personalized dribbling skills and can change pace to get past defenders, and more decisions when gamers are on the defensive, with complete control over hold ups, tackles, and close down moves.

More than 1,000 players have been recreated in the new Konami football title, with a lot of details both when it comes to their looks and their playing styles.

The developers are saying that “Teams automatically adopt their real-life game plan, whether it is counter-attacking, out wide, or defensively minded. They run like they should, play the way they do in real life, and react emotionally as they would to fouls, goals or referee decisions – with their frame of mind actually affecting how they play!”

PES 2015 also includes a new seamless animation system, which blends fast responses to player inputs with beautiful player models.

The studios working on the football title have also enhanced the graphics, with an updated version of the Fox Engine using natural lighting to bring stadiums to life and the crowds now play a bigger role during a match, with more movement and reactions to big moments.

The PES ID system has also been enhanced and Konami adds, “While the world’s greatest players are indeed capable of moments of incredible skill, PES 2015 focuses on their abilities as a player and not their flicks and tricks. Beating a man using pace and close control is key to attacking play, and only those that can will get away with rainbow flicks will.”

Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 will be launched on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, the PC, and last-gen consoles on November 13 of this year.

The rival FIFA 15 from EA Sports will be offered on the same platforms at the end of September.
