The development teams at Konami working on Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 have already revealed a large number of new features for the football sim, and they aim to hype up the fan base even more by announcing that Mario Gotze, one of the best players of the German national team, is the cover star for all the versions of the title.

The Bayern Munich playmaker is seen by the company as the embodiment of the pace, skill, and brilliance that the video game aims to offer when it is launched.

Konami states, “Just 23 years-old, Götze is already a lynchpin for his club and national side, and has been described as one of the best talents Germany has ever had. Thus, with his eye for a pass, intelligent runs, and goal-scoring abilities, the all-round play of the midfielder is the perfect fit with Konami’s new focus. Mario Götze will front the pack shot for PES 2015 and all marketing materials.”

The publisher also says that a demo for the game will be offered on September 17.

Mario Gotze will be one of the most exciting players to watch in the coming real world Bundesliga season, and PES 2015 has made him one of the most capable players in the virtual version of the German championship.

The developers have said that more than 1,000 players have had both their physical likeness and their playing style carefully simulated for the coming title and the clubs that they are playing with have been designed to approach matches as they would do in real life.

PES 2015 is built upon an entirely new game engine, which allows the studios to create a realistic experience that focuses on the role that pace and natural ability play on the pitch, with all players relying on their natural attributes rather than tricks to get past their opponents and move towards goal.

Konami says that gamers will have more control over players, able to now react as soon as the situation changes in a match, and that the Artificial Intelligence has been updated in order to offer better support and anticipate how a phase will evolve.

The atmosphere of the title has also been enhanced, with better lighting use creating warmer stadiums and with crowds now able to react to the most important moments of a match and influence the way players in both teams perform.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 will be launched on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, the PC, and last-gen consoles on November 13 of this year.
