Developer and publisher Konami has confirmed that it is planning to launch a demo version of its upcoming Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 on the PC and on the PlayStation 3 from Sony on September 15, offering gamers a chance to look at the new features that the football simulation aims to introduce in this year's edition.

Those who have subscribed for the PlayStation Plus service from Sony are set to get the demo earlier than other gamers, accessing it on Wednesday, a full one week before normal players.

Konami says that it is also working on launching the demo of Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 for the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and that a date is set to be announced shortly, probably after the publisher gets the go ahead from the platform owner.

The demo version of the football game will allow gamers to play as top teams like Barcelona from Spain, Bayern Munich from Germany, Club Deportivo Guadalajara from Mexico and Sport Club Internacional of Brazil.

Gamers will be able to go up against the Artificial Intelligence or can challenge a friend for a local match.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 is set to offer a new Total Control system which allows any of the players on the pitch to get the ball wherever they want, creating more tactical freedom for gamers.

The title also has improved graphics, with special attention given to the faces of the players and their expressions when they score.

The Konami game will have full simulations of the UEFA Champions League and of the Europa Cup and for the first time in the series will feature the CONMEBOL organized Copa Libertadores.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 is set to arrive for the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360, the Nintendo Wii, the PS2 and the gold old PC with a confirmed date of September 30 in Europe and October 5 in North America.
