Another marketing move from Microsoft

After registering spectacular sales with the Blue Dragon hardware bundle, Microsoft plans to do the same by releasing a Pro Evolution Soccer 6 bundle. Maybe Microsoft wishes for gamers to show the same interest in Pro Evo 6 as they did in Blue Dragon, and of course, they also wish to increase Xbox 360 sales in Japan.

The Pro Evolution Soccer 6 bundle will be made-up of a Xbox 360 console, a wireless controller, a 20GB hard drive, a headset, a 30 day trial period for Xbox Live and, of course, a copy of the game. This bundle will be released as a limited edition, pricing around GBP 299.99. The release date for the bundle has been set for October 27.

Richard Teversham, director of marketing and platform for Xbox EMEA, declared himself to be excited by this collaboration with Konami, and by the possibility to bring soccer fans this hardware bundle for Christmas.

PES 6 is the sixth installment in the soccer simulation Pro Evolution series. The first PES game was released back in 2001 and due to its massive success, Konami decided to release another sequel. After that came one sequel after another till the series reached its sixth installment. Maybe a seventh one will follow. Who knows?
