The development team at Cyanide and publisher Focus Home Interactive are delivering the first official gameplay video taken from the upcoming Pro Cycling Manager and Tour de France 2014, showing the improvements to the graphics engine and some of the new features of the two titles.

The footage is rather short, but it does suggest that the coming two titles include better animations for the cyclists, increased details for the stages themselves and improvements when it comes to attacking moves and fast sprints.

Pro Cycling Manager 2014 is a PC-based simulation title that allows gamers to choose their favorite team from those in the professional peloton and then guide it to glory by handling its finances and training, while also taking control of the riders in the biggest stage races.

The Tour de France is one of the core elements of the experience, with the team at Cyanide saying that it has taken care to simulate the start in the English countryside, the complex mountain top finishes and the final impressive stage on the Champs Elysees in Paris.

The title will deliver 75 full teams with 550 stages and improvements to the transfer market, the actual races and the relationships with sponsors.

Tour de France 2014 is a more action-driven experience that will be offered on the PlayStation 4, the PS3 and the Xbox 360.
