The development team at Cyanide and publisher Focus Home Interactive are launching the 2014 version of Pro Cycling Manager today and are also delivering a release trailer for the sports simulation, which shows off the beauty of cycling and the core features of the title.

The real-world Tour de France, the most prestigious stage race in the world, is set to start in just two weeks and gamers can use the new video game to simulate it from the start, which takes place in Yorkshire, to the mountain top finishes and the final sprint on the Champs-Elysees.

The core Pro Cycling Manager 2014 experience can only be enjoyed on the PC and includes a new simulation engine, more options for team management and a chance to take control of no less than 75 teams with complete rosters.

More than 200 real-world competitions are simulated at the moment and the Cyanide team has been careful to try and capture all the details of the roads on which cyclists compete.

Gamers on the PlayStation 4, the PS3 and the Xbox 360 can also buy the Tour de France 2014 title on consoles, which is designed to focus more on their riders and their efforts as they try to win a stage.
