The Facebook Pages Manager for Android application was recently found to pack a privacy bug that resulted in the sharing of any privately sent photos with the public, reports on the matter suggest.

The software, designed to provide Facebook Page admins with management capabilities on their Android devices, also allows them to send private messages to users.

However, it seems that, when a photo is sent as attachment to such a message, it is actually published on Facebook for everyone to see on the wall of the Page, as Android Police notes in a recent post.

Apparently, the issue resides only in the Facebook Pages Manager for Android, as photos sent privately from the website remain private, and has been already spotted by various Pages administrators.

According to Android Police, Facebook has yet to respond to these reports and to announce the manner in which it plans on resolving the issue.
