Princess Bea has, indeed, ranked so far as the smartest Royal, but her latest move has done nothing but make her feel embarrassed for being far too naive. The British media reports that the Princess had her BMW stolen the other day, as she got out of the car, left it unlocked and with the keys in the ignition, to go shopping.

When Bea came out of the store, she noticed that the car was gone and immediately called for help from her protection officer, who arrived on the scene to evaluate the damages. An official statement revealed that the BMW 1 Series included several personal items of the Princess but, luckily, none was of “a sensitive nature.”

Regardless of that, the Princess is said to be extremely embarrassed by the incident, as leaving a car unattended like that clearly bespeaks an attitude she is a stranger to. This is all the more a sad occurrence as she had received the car from her father, Prince Andrew, upon her seventeenth anniversary. Until now, neither the vehicle nor any of Bea’s possessions have been returned, as neither has any indication of their whereabouts been made.

“She is naturally very shocked and upset. It is particularly embarrassing given that she is always accompanied by a police bodyguard.” one source told the media about Princess Bea’s take on the whole incident. With all that, reports in the local media have it that, only moments after the thief made a run for it with her car in broad daylight and she was reunited with her sister, Eugenie, who was also summoned to the “scene of the crime,” the duo stepped into a pub for drinks. “They looked very cool and it didn't seem anything was wrong.” the pub manager, Fei Hameed, said today.

The careless attitude of Princess Bea has already gotten critics kicking up a fuss, since the two girls get 24-hour protection from bodyguards, despite being deemed “low-security risks.” Oppositely, Zara Phillips, Beatrice’s cousin, who has a higher profile than either of them, has no police protection. That and interventions such as that of yesterday tend to get British tax-payers asking questions about where their money is going.
