According to the controversial book "Diana: The Last Word", written by her friend and confidante, Simone Simmons, Diana, Princess of Wales, took cocaine and feared "she will die".
Simone, 49-year-old said: "Diana just said he offered it to her and she asked, 'What do you do?' and he told her.
"It made her feel so ill. It made her feel sick, dizzy and breathless. She felt she was going to have a heart attack and die when she tried cocaine."
She continues: "Dodi had a weakness for cocaine. Diana knew all about the drug. She had been given it once and vowed to me that she would never try it again."
Simmons also said that Diana never called her former butler Paul Burrell her "rock". "Her 'rock' was her dad. She did call Burrell 'Psychic Paul', with a hint of sarcasm."
