
Pop star Prince is set to release a new album, after he signed a deal with "Universal". The record will be entitled '3121', and follows the 2004's album, 'Musicology'.
The single to precede '3121' is going to be 'Te Amo Corazon', with a video directed by no other than Hollywood actress Salma Hayek.
Starting December 13, the video will be available for download from Prince's site - NPG Music Club, according to "Billboard". The same day, a press conference will be held in Los Angeles, offering more details to fans.
The singer is to promote the album during 2006, via a tour.
Provided he is well enough to perform, as the 5'2'' (1.57m) star
might undergo hip replacement surgery for wearing platform shoes very often.
According to Pagesix.com, "He used to wear high-heeled boots every day and doctors told him that may have contributed to his condition. Over the years, he has battered his body so much that his joints, especially his hips, are causing him a lot of discomfort."
The singer is a Jehovah's Witness, and thus against the surgery, as it involves blood transfusion, a procedure not allowed by his religion.
