Yet there he goes again to talk suing to his fans

Prince is in talks with a number of his unofficial fan sites with a view to settle a copyright dispute. Again! To quote another artist, Eminem, and his track "Square Dance", Prince is going "so on and yada yada, gotta talk alot of hum-hei-la-da-da-der" over this copyright infringement he is allegedly a subject of.

And he's at it for quite a while now, it's over one month since he went on his "I'll sue everybody" spree and it looks like he won't stop on a dime, be it that of ration. Well at least he's not looking so eager to sue everybody on sight. Right now he, or better said his representatives, are in negotiations with the three websites he had threatened last week with legal action. This is after he called them "unofficial and unauthorized phony fan sites that exploit both consumers and artists."

"We can now confirm that talks are underway to resolve matters pertaining to the online fan communities that recently formed under the coalition banner of 'Prince Fans United", reads a statement from the websites.

It looks like Prince has won the first of the battles - one of the three sites in question, b3ta.com, has posted an official apology for its attempt at satirizing the diminutive pop star by encouraging its users to post pictures modified so as to deliver a sting to the artist formerly known as The Artist Formerly Known As Prince.

The Web Sheriff, the organization employed by Prince to follow up on any copyright infringement and solve the problem has also targeted The Pirate Bay, a peer-to-peer file sharing network. "[The Pirate Bay] are in fact exploiting copyrighted material for their own commercial gain. The site has flouted constant legal notices from artists and corporations throughout the world while cashing in on advertising monies. All the time, they keep up the pretence of being an anarchist, 'free music' fan site when it is really a massive money-making venture", said AEG, Prince's promoters, in a statement.
