Mobile phone carrier T-Mobile USA is expected to expand its Android lineup in the near future. At least two new handsets are set to make an appearance on its airwaves, including the recently rumored Motorola Charm/Basil, a candybar device with Android 2.1 on board, and a Samsung Supersonic, which might prove to be none other than the officially announced Samsung Vibrant.

According to leaked documentation that emerged over at TmoNews, the wireless operator is indeed getting ready to launch these handsets soon, and has already decided on the price tags they would be made available with. The Motorola Charm/Basil should become available for $74.99 on a 2-year contract after a $75 rebate, while the Samsung Supersonic is set to sport a cost of $199.99 with contract after a $50 mail in rebate.

The Motorola Charm was spotted into the wild a few days ago, when rumors suggested that T-Mobile would be the carrier to have it. Among the known specifications on this device, we can count the portrait QWERTY keyboard, complemented by a touchscreen display, or the Android 2.1 operating system, complemented by the new MOTOBLUR UI. The handset might become available for purchase free of contract too, priced at $269.99.

As for the Samsung Supersonic, it seems that there are no specific details available on what the device might actually be. According to TmoNews, chances are that this phone and the recently announced Samsung Vibrant (a Galaxy S device) would be one and the same. Both phones sport the same contract price, and Supersonic might be the codename for Vibrant over at T-Mobile. The retail price of the handset would be of $499.99.

For what it's worth, since these details are not official as of yet, there are great chances that the actual price tags would differ when the phones are launched on the market. Moreover, Supersonic might turn out to be a different handset than the Vibrant, especially since info on it lacks for the time being. Stay tuned to learn more on this.
