Galaxy Tab 7.7 is the latest small tablet PC that South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung unveiled to the world (we'll take their word on Galaxy Note being an impressively large smartphone and not a 5.3-inch tablet), and it should arrive on shelves in several European countries before the end of the ongoing year.

To be more precise, the tablet PC is expected to hit Scandinavian countries in a matter of months, and the cost it would sport when released has just leaked into the wild.

The same as the original Galaxy Tab, which was considered quite expensive for its time, the new Galaxy Tab 7.7 might appear as being priced too high when compared to other similar devices on the market.

In Denmark, for example, the tablet PC is said to come with a price tag of 5,000 Danish krone (671 Euros) while expected to hit the shelves in Finland for around 699 Euros.

Norway and Sweden should receive the new device as well before the end of 2011, but only the price for the latter market emerged at the moment, said to have been set at 6,000 Swedish krona (659 Euros).

With a cost of between 650 and 700 Euros, the tablet PC is certainly a device that some people will only dream of, but should provide others with increased performance and great multimedia capabilities.

The Android-based device was unveiled with a 1.4GHz application processor inside, complemented by HSPA+ 21Mbps / LTE connectivity capabilities, and the said 7.7-inch screen that can deliver a WXGA 1280 x 800 pixels resolution.

It also comes with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities, as well as with built-in GPS receiver, and WiFi Direct. There will be two flavors of the device launched, one with 3G connectivity, and another one only with WiFi.

The tablet also comes with a 3-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash and video recording capabilities, as well as with a 2-megapixel camera on the front, and with a 5,100 mAh battery.
