14 DAY TRIAL // Oprah Winfrey is becoming more and more involved in the Twilight phenomenon. She was the one to debut the first trailer for the third film in the series, “Eclipse,” as well as the one to treat a handful of lucky fans to an advanced screening of the film that drops in theaters two months from now. Now, Oprah is coming out with a special episode dedicated entirely to “Eclipse,” as BSCReview can confirm.
The first teasers for the upcoming episode are already out and they must make Twi-hards positively ecstatic. Aside from a photo of the cast with Oprah, there is also a preview of how the special will look like: complete with amazing surprises for fans, including unexpected visits by Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner to fans’ houses. The picture (also attached to this article) shows Pattinson, Lautner and Kristen Stewart sharing a laugh with the Big O, as Winfrey is dubbed in the media. Dakota Fanning was also there, but she is not seen in this promo pic.

“The talk show goddess was the only one author Meyer would interview with when she took a break from the spotlight following the first Twilight film’s release. Oprah debuted the Eclipse trailer last month, and this month she’ll host a Twilight Saga: Eclipse preview episode. Yep, you heard right, an entire episode power packed with Twilight goodness, including, of course actors Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Dakota Fanning. Oprah loves giveaways. The good word is this time around she gives away Edward Cullen himself, sending R-Patz, in the flesh, to the houses of bedazzled fans,” the e-zine goes on to say.
The video below, which is actually the preview for the special, also shows Oprah asking Pattinson and Stewart the question that has been on the lips of millions of fans and that the two continue to refuse to address. Word in the industry has it the two knew it would come and had a deal with Oprah not to push it on the condition they told her before going on air where they stood. And they did tell her whether they were dating or not but, as luck would have it, no one knows what they said.
