A 20-minute clip of Jason Scott's film has been made available

Jason Scott, the director of the DEFCON documentary, has released a 20-minute preview of the much-awaited film.

Hacker conferences are a great way for experts and enthusiasts to meet and exchange opinions. The film made by Scott tries to capture the atmosphere of DEFCON, the conference that has been a major success for the past 20 years.

The documentary, scheduled to be released in 2013, contains interviews, parties, presentations and other interesting aspects of the world’s largest hacking conference.

In order to make the movie, five separate camera crews filmed a total of 280 hours of footage.

DEFCON is produced by Jeff Moss and Russ Rogers. Eddie Codel, Alex Buie, Drew Wallner, Rick Dakan, Steve Fish, Kyle Way and Rachel Lovinger are in charge of camerawork.
