Today, Prestigio has just released a new firmware package developed for its MultiPad 7.0 PRIME 3G tablet, namely version 1.0.10, which includes a few changes that improve the device’s overall performance and stability.

Specifically speaking, this fresh update fixes the Airplane mode and Long PIN issues, adds an audio level warning, and includes some OSD corrections. Also, APN and SPN files, as well as Prestigio’s apps have been updated, the USB tethering issue is resolved, and the firmware stability has been improved.

When it comes to installing this release, you can perform this task through either an OTA (over-the-air) or a manual update; either way, you should first back up all your important files before initiating the upgrade so that no data loss is encountered.

Therefore, if you want to use the OTA method, connect the tablet to a wireless network and go to Settings → About Tablet → System Updates → Check Now; wait for the new version to be found, accept the firmware for downloading, and follow the displayed instructions.

When the manual installation is desired, you must get and extract the downloadable archive, copy the “update.zip” file onto a formatted SD card (or transfer it to the internal memory), and power off the tablet.

Now, insert the SD card, hold the “Volume +” button, turn on the device, and when the green robot appears, press the “Power” button; locate the firmware file using “Volume -,” select the “update.zip” archive through the “Volume +” button, and follow the on-screen steps.

That being said, download Prestigio MultiPad 7.0 PRIME 3G Tablet Firmware 1.0.10, apply it, and enjoy your newly-updated device.
