Earlier this week I told you Prestigio was gearing up to release the rumored MultiPad Visconte tablet. Well, the company has finally launched the product, so I’m able to tell you a few more details about it.

As Mobilissimo reports, the MultiPad Visconte has a 10-inch IPS screen with the same old 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. As expected, on the inside lies an Intel Celeron dual-core processor, which incidentally is a 64-bit unit clocked at 1.64GHz.

The machine can be fitted with 2GB of RAM and a choice between 32GB or 64GB of internal storage (and the ability to add an extra 64GB via microSD card).

The 32GB version with Wi-Fi and Windows 8.1 bundled on top will go on sale for the relatively hefty price of $450 / €328, which seems quite a lot for emerging markets. The Visconte also bundles a keyboard dock companion, but we’re not told whether there’s an extra battery embedded or not.
