The president of the United States is not shy of technology and, in fact, does a lot of his newspaper reading on the web nowadays. Asked what specific device served the task, the prez confirmed he used an iPad, and one that he actually received personally from Apple’s iconic co-founder, Mr. Steve Jobs.

In a televised interview, U.S. President Barack Obama confirmed that he was one of the first to get his hands on an Apple iPad.

The American president failed to confirm which of the existing two versions he was talking about, but did say: “Steve Jobs actually gave it to me, a little bit early. Yeah, it was cool. I got it directly from him.” Obama is known to have great admiration for Apple’s former CEO.
