The official website belonging to the President of the Republic of Macedonia was breached and defaced by a hacker collective called Kosova Hacker's Security.

“Republic OF Kosovo !!!! Albanian 4 ever !,” reads a message on the defaced webpage.

Currently the website is working and the page where the hackers posted their content was taken offline, but to make sure they go down in history, a mirror of the defaced site was posted on Arabzone.

Hacking operations with political messages seem to occur more often, especially since many government websites are built with no security measures in mind.

After they’ve seen Pakistani and Indian hackers retaliate against state authorities in this manner, cybercriminals from other part of the world are following in their footsteps, defacing anything they find vulnerable.
