AT&T’s customers interested in the purchase of a Nokia Lumia 1520 recently had the chance to head over to eBay to grab a preproduction version of the device.

The mobile phone will become officially available for purchase at the wireless carrier on November 22, yet it seems that at least one user was able to have it before that day.

Apparently, this is a network testing device, though it is said to pack the final hardware and software and to be working just fine with AT&T’s network.

Based on the seller’s rating on eBay, this seems to be the real deal, and interested parties should head over to the aforementioned listing to learn more on what the device can offer.

The preproduction version of Nokia Lumia 1520 comes with 16GB of internal memory and is dressed up in Black. The phone features a price tag of $575 (€430).

For those out of the loop, we should note that Nokia launched the Lumia 1520 smartphone last month, with a 6-inch LCD full HD (1080p) touchscreen with ClearBlack technology and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating.

The handset also packs a 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a 3400 mAh Li-Ion battery, and wireless charging capabilities, with support for the Qi standard.

On the back, the new device sports a 20.7-megapixel camera with OIS (optical image stabilization), Carl Zeiss lens, and dual-LED flash, while also featuring a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling.

The specs list of the new mobile phone also includes a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage space.

Nokia Lumia 1520 packs Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5GHz) and Bluetooth 4.0 LE connectivity, DC-HSPA, and LTE cat 4 support. The smartphone is only 8.7mm thin.

Running under the latest version of Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system, the smartphone also features pre-loaded Microsoft Office, HERE Maps, Here Drive+, Nokia Music, and more.
