If you are a person who loves action, it is very possible you have never enjoyed hunting games, since they are more about sneaking, searching and slow movements in general rather than fast-paced shooting action. However, if you'd still like to enjoy some animal hunting on your TV screen, but more in a pick up and play action style, there might be a solution for you: Deer Drive, an arcade style hunting game brought to us by Mastiff, SCS Software and Kouyousha.

So, as I said, Deer Drive mixes hunting simulation with arcade style action and pacing for an exciting, more intense gaming experience. Also, Deer Drive is the first deer hunting game that features two player simultaneous play. Additionally, Deer Drive comes with a multitude of gameplay modes, including four player party mode, true-to-life sound effects, passive and aggressive prey, and a slew of hunting weapons. All in all, this means that it is much more fun than any similar title released on the Nintnedo Wii console.

"Deer Drive is an entirely different animal when it comes to hunting games," said Bill Swartz, president of Mastiff. "Most hunting games are slow moving simulations with frustrating controls. Deer Drive is all about shooting, all about pick-up-and-play fun and being a more accurate marksman and better hunter than your friends."

However, the developers promise that the game will be equally challenging for the hardcore players as well as casual ones, with its dynamic hunting conditions and varied terrain. Deer Drive also brings ethical hunting to the Wii, along with optimized work with the Wiimote and Wii Zapper.

Also, if you are only expecting to go after deer, think again: it is much more dangerous out there! You will have to be ready to defend yourself from aggressive lions, bears, charging moose and other dangerous situations. Which means more fun for the player, right?

This is the worst game I've ever played. It comes with the gun, but the button to shoot is the one on the end of the gun, not the one in the trigger housing. Also, the sights on the gun are totally useless, as if you point the gun at the animal you're trying to shoot, you won't even be close to hitting the screen. I bought this game thinking it would be much like Cabela's big game hunter, where you have a hunting lodge to buy upgrades from, and you hunt from a hunting blind, but only with a gun instead. I feel as though Mastiff Games put zero effort into making this game, and I'm looking forward to returning it.

me too..so awful. i was psyched to get it home. ASSUMED that the trigger would be the nunchuck in the trigger housing. Cant believe thats not the case! And why cant you zero the rifle as you play. Only way to zero is by moving the sensor, which means for ir to be accurate , the sensor would have to be right in the middle of the screen. Did someone actually get paid to make this game?
