Fish as never before - with your stylus!

One of the best features of Nintendo DS, except for the fact that it's a portable console, is its innovative control method or, if you want to put it this way, its touchscreen. There are many games that get more interesting just because they fully use this feature, turning a title you've already seen a few times before into a great experience. The same thing is promised to happen with Rising Star Games' Harvest Fishing, a... fishing game, as the name subtly suggests.

However, this will not be your regular fishing game where you cast the lure and wait, and wait, and wait. Instead, you will have to do what you already know from other games: save somebody. This somebody is, in Harvest Fishing's case, your sister, a poor little girl who went to sleep and never woke up (no, she didn't die, we're just talking about an endless sleep!). There is just one thing that can help you save your sister: the River King, the biggest fish in the river, which you have to fish. So get ready to cast the lure and wait, and wait, and wait... but with a purpose now.

As I've said in the intro, Harvest Fishing promises to fully use the Nintendo DS touchscreen and offer a fishing experience you'll never forget, but that won't be the only good thing. You'll also get a huge collection of baits, lures, rods, as well as a variety of fishing games (and mini-games) and, of course, a river full of fish! A multiplayer version is also available via Wi-Fi Connection or DS Wireless, with up to 4 players being able to enter tournaments and prove their worth to the world.

And if multiplayer is not your thing and you prefer to fish alone, far away from the civilized world, well... I have some really bad news for you: you won't be able to do it. Because in Harvest Moon, you'll never be alone, not even in single player mode, because you'll make friends with lots of magical creatures and a host of colorful characters, all with special attributes that you'll have to unlock and use in order to succeed in getting the River King and save your sister.

Harvest Fishing game is scheduled for a 27th of June 2008 release as a Nintendo DS exclusive.
