Everybody knows that Nintendo Wiis are perfect consoles for parties, and that's one of the reasons why Reflexive Entertainment has decided to create a special multiplayer-focused game based on one of their most popular series, Big Kahuna. The exclusive Wii title is already rated E (for Everyone) and a certain release date is expected to be announced soon.

The game can be played by two up to four players, both competitive and cooperative. There is also a single player option to play the game but since you never party alone, you shouldn't try it unless you are a very, very lonely person. Big Kahuna Party takes players to an underwater adventure, challenging them with 99 levels and offering lots of exotic fish to discover.

"When we made the Big Kahuna games on the PC, we added a feature that allowed players to play together using multiple mice, and in the office it was a smash hit," said Lee Cooper, Producer of Big Kahuna Party. "Unfortunately, as most people don't have multiple mice connected to their computer, not enough people have gotten to experience the frantic fun of multiplayer Big Kahuna. For WiiWare, we've made multiplayer the focus. People can still enjoy the game by themselves, but after playing multiplayer we expect you'll only use single-player to brush up on your skills for your next competitive game night with friends."

Big Kahuna Party features 26 photo realistic fish you can unlock while playing and offers exciting gamplay mechanics, including the Wii version of the beloved explosions (which, just like in the PC version, appear when players match five pieces or more and can take the form of small dynamite sticks or huge nuclear bombs). But the fun provided by the game can only be felt if you play it, so stay tuned with Softpedia to find the latest details on this Wii exclusive.
