It seems that all those rumors regarding some interesting prepaid offerings coming from Verizon Wireless, are about to come true. New information leaked reveals that the carrier is preping a massive lineup of prepaid phones from important handset manufacturers, such as Palm, Motorola and Blackberry.

If you thought that Verizon's prepaid offerings were limited to cheap, entry-level, $10 phones, now it's time to change your opinion.

According to Android Does website, which received some official documents from a tipster, Verizon is about to enlarge its prepaid lineup with some of the latest, hot on the heels smartphones.

Started as a rumor, the information proved to be true, as Engadget received a snapshot with Verizon Prepaid BlackBerry Curve box, showing prices that match up with the previous leaked documents.

Here are some of the device that will be offered for prepaid plans: Motorola Droid, Motorola Droid 2, Motorola Droid X, Motorola Devour, Samsung Fascinate, Droid Incredible, LG Ally, Palm Pre Plus, Palm Pixi Plus, BlackBerry Curve 8330, BlackBerry Curve 2 9530, BlackBerry Storm 9530, BlackBerry Storm 9550, BlackBerry Tour 9630, BlackBerry Bold 9650.

If you're one of those persons that likes freedom and hate to be locked with a two-year contract, just because you want to buy a certain device, then this is your moment.

Pay as you go is among the best choices to save money and avoid being tied by a contract that limits your freedom of communication.

Word is that the planned prepaid offerings will be in out on September 2, but there's no telling what the US-based carrier will do in the next few days, now that the info is already on the streets.

If everything goes accordingly and rumors prove to be true, Verizon customers will be able to get their precious Droid with a prepaid plan.
