A woman from Eugene, Oregon has found the unexpected in a cereal box – a mouse bone. Surely wondering where the rest of the mouse is, Shea Boman-Smead has discussed the issue with the cereal manufacturer.

KVAL reported that the 25-year-old pregnant woman got through an entire bowl of milk and cereal until noticing something suspicious floating in the milk.

“As I was taking a drink, I noticed something long in there, and it was not shaped like the cereal,” she recalls.

She worries that she could have caught a disease. She believes that she has come across a mouse femur in the “Life” cereal box.

When she contacted Quaker, she was asked to send the empty cereal box and the bone for an investigation. She was also offered an apology.
