Thomas Beatie will go down in history for eternity as “the pregnant man.” Legally a man but still retaining anatomic parts of a woman, which allowed him to become pregnant, he's had 3 children so far. But no more, he says.

Beatie and wife Nancy taped an appearance on the show “The Doctors,” which will air today – you can see a preview of it below, embedded at the end of the article.

The Telegraph says that Beatie agreed to be on the show to talk about the countless ways in which his and Nancy's life changed once they decided he was to carry the family's first child.

Also on the show, he makes a startling revelation: he's done with birthing.

“In an exclusive interview with The Doctors, in which Thomas Beatie talks about becoming a man, giving birth and life after childbirth, he reveals that he has given birth to his last baby and is considering having a hysterectomy,” the British publication writes.

“Having been born a woman, Mr. Beatie legally became a man in 2002 but did not have his female reproductive organs removed,” The Telegraph further writes.

He decided not to complete gender reassignment surgery because Nancy couldn't have children. After birth, she took over breastfeeding for him, since he couldn't.

Having a hysterectomy will help Thomas stabilize himself medically as a man.

“He hit headlines around the world as the first 'pregnant man' with his bearded face and protruding belly. He now has three children with his wife Nancy – Susan, Austin and Jensen,” The Telegraph says.

The count stops at 3, according to Thomas and Nancy: they'd always dreamed of having children and now that they've seen their dream come true, they plan to move on with their life.
