14 DAY TRIAL // Just one week after announcing that she was expecting her first child with her current boyfriend, Jenelle Evans, who shot to fame on MTV’s Teen Mom reality series, was arrested after getting into a fight with said boyfriend.
She was taken downtown and booked on charges of breaking the peace, which she passionately disputes on her Twitter feed.
According to reports in the media, Jenelle and Nathan Griffith got into a fight outside their home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and a neighbor called the cops.
“The 21-year-old reality star was arguing with Griffith when the cops were called. Moments later the MTV star was brought out of her home in handcuffs. Evans was arrested on a charge of breaching the peace. This is the young mother's 10th arrest in three years,” Us Magazine writes.
Evans has since been released and she’s doing her best to convince her Twitter followers that nothing really happened as the neighbor and the cops say it did, claiming that the neighbor is merely looking to get attention from the media by getting her in trouble.
“Dude u can say what u want. The cops r sooooo annoyed by my neighbor constantly calling the cops on our dog and [expletive]. Went as far as my mom yelling at my neighbors if they don't stop she will sue them. She did it to sell a story,” she writes.
“I've been in my house all day long... She even said Nathan was outside yelling at my mom on the phone... Lmfao no he wasn't. lmfao me and Nathan weren't fighting she made it all up, Nathan voice is loud and he walks around outside to talk on the phone,” Evans further says.
As noted above, Evans has had more than her fair share of legal issues. She’s been arrested several times on drug charges, she’s yet to get custody of her son Jace with ex Andrew Lewis, and she’s even been hospitalized a couple of times.
