Pregnancy Scare Ends Hayden Panettiere’s Affair with Milo Ventimiglia

A few days ago, rumor broke that 19-year-old “Heroes” cutie Hayden Panattiere ended her romance with co-star Milo Ventimiglia. At the time, it was said that the two had simply realized that they had different priorities in life, therefore going on together was not an option. A pregnancy scare could have also ended their relationship, new reports are now saying.

“Word has it, the split between Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia was caused by a pregnancy scare. The test proved negative, but apparently caused friction that sparked the breakup.” the Chicago Sun-Times is writing, citing unnamed but allegedly quite reliable sources.

Although the publication makes no mention of who was the most upset about the idea of becoming a parent, speculation has it that it was Hayden, who, at the same time, also came to terms with the 12-year age gap between the two.

The two stars started dating in late 2007, after developing a close friendship on the set of “Heroes.” Their relationship was, for a very long while, the worst kept secret in showbiz. Nevertheless, they were still plagued by all sorts of rumors, such as that they planned on moving in together, that they were even considering taking the big leap of faith, marriage, and that their affair caused trouble with Hayden’s family, who was against them two dating.

Earlier this week, following reports that Hayden was spotted kissing singer Jesse McCartney on a night out partying, it has emerged that her relationship with Milo had come to an end. It was a friendly split, though, unnamed sources told the media, with the two actors still hanging out together every once in a while.

“It was a lifestyle conflict. They were in very different places. [Hayden] likes to go out in the Hollywood scene and that’s not his style. [Milo] has been concentrating on work on his production company [Divide Pictures]. They are still on friendly terms. There are no hard feelings.” unnamed spies revealed for Us Weekly.
