Predicting the Future: The Reboot Grid

It's not for nothing that people constantly say that Hollywood is running out of original ideas for films: this past couple of years, we've had more reboots and remakes than we could count, many of them unnecessary or just plain bad.

Speaking of reboots, given the industry's love for them, Jest has come up with a very useful reboot “grid,” which you can see in full by clicking the image above.

It includes several classic movies and TV shows, listing them as either a good or a bad idea. It also offers the odds of them getting the reboot treatment.

Of course, the grid doesn't include all the movies and TV shows you could think of off the top of your hat. So, drop us a line in the comments to let us know which are those you'd like to see getting the reboot treatment but aren't in the grid.
