Pre-Purchase The Cave Right Now on PC via Steam, Earn Bonus Team Fortress 2 Items

The Cave, the next big adventure game from independent studio Double Fine and famous designer Ron Gilbert, is now available for pre-order via Steam and those who pre-purchase it can also earn a few Team Fortress 2 bonus items.

Ron Gilbert, the designer responsible for cult games like Monkey Island or Maniac Mansion, has teamed up with Double Fine, the studio led by Tim Schafer, another famous games creator, and revealed The Cave, a new side scrolling adventure that's set to be published by Sega across many different platforms in the near future.

Now, ahead of the game's release later this month, Double Fine and Sega have begun accepting pre-purchases on Steam.

Those who opt to get the game can also score some bonus content for Team Fortress 2, ranging from special customization items and even a teddy bear.
