Pre-Order Deals for Soulcalibur IV

Two nice offers for those of you who wish to get SC4 as soon as possible

Soulcalibur IV is one of the most anticipated fighting games of the year and, since its

publisher surely knows that, we're already getting the first details on the deals we will receive if we pre-order the title. This offer we're talking about is only available in the UK, at the moment, but we're certain that pretty soon other similar ones will be made available, so don't lose hope just yet.

First of all, there is website Play.com which is offering an exclusive face plate with all the Xbox 360 orders of the game (yes, this means that the PS3 is ignored by Play), and this is definitely a must have for fans. Alternatively, you can pre-order Ubisoft's title from GAME and receive a bonus DVD and an art booklet - all in a beautiful steel case, both for the Xbox 360 and the PS3 version of the game. There are no exact details, though on what will we get on that "bonus" DVD, but extra goodies are always welcome.

Soulcalibur IV will be released this August, so if you don't want to spend a whole night in a shop to get the game, a pre-order might be your best choice.

Of course, on the other hand, you might be on the side of the slightly disappointed fans, since the latest installment of the franchise will bring us a bit too much Star Wars than we could handle. We'll get, as unlockable characters, Darth Vader and Master Yoda - one for every platform, plus the Secret Apprentice from the upcoming The Force Unleashed. Yes, these guys know how to fight, but they're from the far future and have nothing to do with the action in Soulcalibur. Oh, well... the developers surely know better than us. And this means that you should feel free to pre-order the game for some goodies - if you live in the UK.
