Pre Order Bonuses Detailed for The Sims 3 on Consoles

Publisher Electronic Arts has announced the pre order bonuses that are available for those players who will get the upcoming console version of The Sims 3 from selected retailers including Amazon, Play.com, Game and the EA Store.

The unlockable items include:

- The “Get Lucky” Karma power, which makes sure that the character the player controls gets the Luck of the Irish or something similar and succeeds in all his endeavors, is available for those who pre order the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3 versions of the game at retailer Game;

- The Ultra Lounge Living Room set includes a status defining flat panel television set, some decorations and other furniture for the main room and is available through pre order at Amazon

- A powerful muscle car or a luxury sports car is included in the package for those who get The Sims 3 on consoles at Play.com

- The Ultra Lounge Outdoor Set is included by getting the game either as a physical disk or as a download from the Electronic Arts Store.

Players who are interested in the pre order bonuses need to hurry up and get the game before October 29.

Players also need to keep in mind the fact that the pre order code is only valid until April 31, 2011 so those who gift it need to make sure that the recipient uses it as soon as possible to get his unique bonus.

The code is also non transferable.

The Sims 3 for home console comes complete with an all new Karma system but will otherwise offer the same life simulating experience that PC gamers have been playing for some time.

The franchise is also heading to the upcoming Nintendo 3DS handheld, which deliver three dimensional gaming without requiring glasses, early in 2011, when the device will be launched in North America and in Europe.
