After being caught by his girlfriend on the verge of asking her to marry him the first time, the man decided to keep Summer on edge with “almost proposals” until finding the perfect way of surprising her. He then made a funny video called “Proposing to Summer (in three parts)” and posted it on YouTube.

The man wanted to make his girlfriend feel special with a unique plan, actually from three “almost proposals” followed by the real one, all in just one night. The couple went out visiting their favorite places in the city, places where they shared special moments, but in each spot, when he was about to pop the question, he turned and confused his girlfriend.

At the beginning of the video, the prankster explains “Summer found out I was going to propose tonight...So I decided to scrap my original plan. And at the last minute give her a night of surprises.” The video is both funny and adorable, as he turns each moment around with a joke.

In the first “almost proposal” he awaits for Summer in their home, nervously talks about their special love, holds her hand, kneels down and tells her “Right here, on our first date we sat and talked until 7 in the morning. I wanted to do this later but I think I should just do it now,” and then starts to tie his shoelaces.

The second surprise came at their favorite sushi restaurant, when he starts by telling her how he first fell in love with her in the exact same spot where they sit. He stands up and asks for everyone's attention saying “On our first date, we came here because we love sushi...[long pause] and we still love sushi. Thank you,” and then sits down. The room bursts into laughter as Summer punches him in the arm smiling.

After the sushi restaurant, they went to get coffee from their favorite coffee place, Java. Sadly, it was closed so they headed to a park where they used to take long walks. In the park, a band was singing their favorite song so they went closer to listen.

When hearing the song and being cuddled by her boyfriend, Summer gets emotional believing the pranks are over. Yet, when the song finishes, the prankster looks at her and says “I'm bummed Java was closed,” then takes her hand and starts walking. The surprised girl laughs and asks “What's happening?” and he replies “Nothing. Just walking. I don't know what that was!”

Finally, they arrive at the docks, the last place to visit for the night and he actually asks her to marry him putting the ring on her finger. The girl says yes and all their friends emerge from the darkness amused by what happened. They were filming the whole time and congratulated them on their wedding-to-come and on the cutest proposal ever seen.

It seems the prankster's scheme had the effect he wanted; it was funny, surprising and adorable and he got the answer he wished for as well. Take a look at the amazing video below.
