A video shot in China illustrates people's reaction when taking their umbrellas while using them in the rain.

According to Huffington Post, this stunt was set up by prankster Andrew Hales. The concept is quite simple – he walks up to people, says hello, then reaches for the umbrella.

He then grabs said umbrella with astounding ease as they don't know how to react. A lot of them just stand there staring at him for a few seconds in utter confusion.

When they try to ask him what he is doing, he doesn't understand as he doesn't speak their language.

Hales has previously tried giving people drugs on the street in Salt Lake City, Utah and capturing their reactions on camera.
