14 DAY TRIAL // Where fashion meets film is Prada's latest commercial, directed by Roman Polanski and starring the always brilliant Helena Bonham Carter and Ben Kingsley. Check it out above.
The 3-minute video sees Helena as a very rich and pampered woman on her therapy session. Kingsley is the therapist and, even though he doesn't utter a single word, he's amazing from start to finish.
As she hangs her fabulous coat and kicks off her killer heels, Carter reclines on the sofa and start talking about a recent dream she had.
“I was alone in a vast arena and on the stage was a rock band and I couldn’t hear the music, total silence, I was consumed by panic, what does it mean? Does it symbolize my loneliness?” she asks.
As she keeps talking, Kingsley is drawn to her purple fur coat, moving towards it, then touching it, and eventually draping it all over him.
“Prada suits everyone,” reads the tagline at the end of the short film. It sure does.
