14 DAY TRIAL // Owners of BlackBerry 10 smartphones can now take advantage of a new appealing mobile application while on the go, namely Poynt.
The application was already available for the older BlackBerry devices, and is now up for download for those who chose to adopt the new BlackBerry 10 platform as well.
However, users should know that the BlackBerry 10 flavor of the software is, in fact, an Android port, and that it might lack some of the capabilities that a native app would sport.
For those out of the loop, we should note that Poynt was released as a local search app, providing users with the possibility to easily find and connect with businesses, movies, restaurants, people, offers, and events near them.
Through Poynt, users can interact with the search by placing calls to businesses, mapping directions, viewing movie trailers, and doing other actions as well.
