The Cirrus7 nimbini mini PC that is built with some great hardware and with a case from machined aluminum is now available for sale.

We wrote about the Cirrus7 nimbini a while back, and it caught our eye mostly because it uses a special kind of case that is made from a single piece of machined aluminum, not to mention the fact that it respects VESA standards, and it can be used in various setups. Interestingly enough, the mini PC is quite configurable, and many of the components can be customized.

Cirrus7 nimbini might look like a solid piece of aluminium, but the truth is that it can feature a large number of components. Users just need to choose what they want and let the company built the mini PC for them. This is very helpful as most mini PCs available right now on the market usually have some hardware configurations that are locked in place and users can't really change anything about them.

Cirrus7 nimbini ships with Ubuntu

Many of the mini PCs that are available right now don't try also to look good. In fact, most of them just want to be incredibly small and to make some sort of compromise between size and power. That's not the case with Cirrus7 nimbini, which can ship with some of the latest components available..

The Cirrus 7 nimbini can be configured through various flexible options. The business and media edition offer an M.2 interface for fast SSDs from the new generation, it can accommodate a Bay Trail CPU and the latest i7 Broadwell, not to mention the fact that it can be mounted on supports that respect VESA standards.

If you like this particular mini PC, you will have to run through the configuration options to find out the price. And one last thing, it ships with both Ubuntu 14.04 and Windows operating systems. Presumably, choosing the Linux options will take the cost down.
