Sweden based Power Challenge have announced that they will start using the Hanson production management solution, with the purpose of developing and improving the online game even further. Power Challenge was founded in 2004 and is now associated with two big online soccer games, Managerzone and Powerchallenge.

"Power Challenge is a rapidly growing game development company with high demands on finding a flexible and swift project model and thereby an equally flexible project tracking tool that supports the model in full. Agile practices were adopted early on in the growth phase and Hansoft was quickly proven the best system on the market. It supports our geographically separated development organization and it brings teams and individuals easy-to-use and powerful functions for managing the game development in real-time, across offices, in every level of the production; from developer and tester to producer and product owner. The system roll-out was extremely quick and the user interface is intuitive. Our teams were up and running using Hansoft in a matter of hours. We're happy to have found a tool that supports Agile development in such a great way", said Richard Kronf?lt, Executive Producer at Power Challenge.

On the other hand, the managing director at Hansoft, Patric Palm said: "PowerChallenge is a world leader in online gaming and we are obviously thrilled to provide them with Hansoft for their exciting projects. Using Hansoft will help them coordinate all their talent across several studios. We are very much looking forward to see the results in the new titles coming out."

Everything sounds nice and the gamers should benefit more than ever: because the kind of games they have on the online market (free online games, that is) need to seem as real as possible. And the $8 million investment made in Power Challenge should be enough to do the trick.
