Much in the same way that AMD's current line of high-performance Radeon HD 5800 series of GPUs were leaked on the Internet prior to their official launch, a new GPU range appears to be growing closer to an official launch. We are talking about the company's next-generation mainstream lineup, the Radeon HD 5700-series, which has just been leaked online, through the listing on the website of an online retailer. Both the Radeon HD 5750 and HD 5770 are currently up for pre-order, which should provide users with some details on what to expect from said cards.

The details have been made available on the German-language Mindfactory.de, which has listed the two cards, but later pulled them off the site. Fortunately, the gang over TechConnect Magazine was quick to snap a print screen of the two listings and post them on their website. According to their gathered information, the Radeon HD 5750 and the HD 5770, designed by PowerColor, will cost about 120 and 150 Euro respectively and will provide users with the features of AMD's latest GPU architecture.

As for technical specifications, the two cards are said to boast 1120 Stream processors, a 128-bit memory interface, 1GB of GDDR5 memory that has been clocked at 4600MHz, a dual-slot cooler and support for ATI's CrossFireX multi-GPU technology. In addition, users will be able to take advantage of an array of connectivity options, including dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort. The main difference between the two models is that the Radeon HD 5750 will be clocked at 700Mhz, while the HD 5770 will be clocked at 825MHz.

The two cards should make their official debut before the end of 2009, becoming an alternative for users looking for a new card that will power their next-generation, Windows 7-based mainstream desktop PCs.
