Imagine you get lost in the mountains while taking a hike (maybe because your listed online map had it wrong?again). You want help. You start screaming "Online Maps stink!" but you get no response. You desperately start searching for something. But wait! You remember taking that key chain whistle gizmo your concerned girlfriend bought you last Christmas from Amazon.com.

The Power Whistle! You search it, find it and start to whistle. What you have just tasted might actually save your life. You can also use its super bright LED lights to help you see your way through the painted black environment. It also comes with a built-in compass if you can't tell where North is. The thing also features a neck strap so you can brag when squirrels come and ask you what kind of elf-like item you're wearing. This stuff can also scare off curious (maybe also nervous) bears or other big and furious territorial animals. Being able to make a loud sound is very likely to discourage any natural born attackers. And in case you want to check your body temperature, you can use its thermometer.

Oh man, it doesn't incorporate a RFID tag (radio-frequency identification). That means your body can't be automatically identified in case you don't get help and you slowly die (sorry!). What if you lose your Power Whistle in the woods? Trying to find it could be a very annoying process. You want your whistle gizmo to tell you something like: "Dude, I'm here, I'm here!". This is why RFID would've been nice. It could be the next input when it comes to conceptualizing key chain like emergency items. But that means you'll also have to use a scanner in order to detect them.

You can get it from Amazon.com for 9,99$.
