14 DAY TRIAL // Police have more information about a crash between a sedan and a fire truck, in which a teenage model has lost her life. As I reported, 19-year-old Evelyn Courtney of Poway died on impact during the collision.
NBC San Diego specifies that 44-year-old Robbie Gillespie, who was driving the sedan, has been in jail until last week.
In fact, he got out of jail two days before the crash that ended the teen's life. Gillespie had been incarcerated on drug charges. He has survived the accident with minor injuries.
Authorities revealed that Courtney was in the car with Gillespie because she was working on a fashion project with his wife. She also viewed him as a mentor, and he was driving her from his house to her parents’.
