Sprint PCS Picture Mail(SM) Groups give customers the power to post photos and videos for others to view on a phone or online.

As part of its "Twelve Days of Power Shopping" promotion, Sprint is encouraging customers to use Sprint Picture Mail Groups during the holidays to post pictures and videos for loved ones in the military who can't be home this holiday season.

Further more, Sprint
Picture Mail subscribers can use Groups to create their own communities where they can invite any number of friends and loved ones with an email address or wireless phone number to view photos and video clips. Community members can respond with their own pictures, text, video or audio clips, and can opt to receive instant notification whenever new content is posted. Sprint Picture Mail Groups are the first picture groups service designed with the mobile phone user in mind and are a great way of sharing special moments with military who can't be home for the holidays.

To create a Group, customers should sign on to their account here and click on the Groups tab. Customers should then select "Create a group," name and describe the group, and then create an invitation message to invite family and friends to join. Customers can then post a welcome message to share pictures and video with their Group members.

"Sprint Picture Mail can help military personnel overseas feel a little closer to home during the holidays. Being separated from family and friends during the holidays is never easy. Hopefully Sprint Picture Mail Groups will make the distance apart seem a little shorter," said Pierre Barbeau, general manager of Sprint Picture Mail at Sprint.
