There have been plenty of rumors and leakages in the press lately, as to suggest Samsung's Galaxy Note 12.2 might be in the works in the tech giant's developing labs.

The tablet was expected to be spotted at the IFA in Berlin, but it failed to make an appearance. Until now, a device dubbed SM-P901 (WiFi variant) was shown to have been granted Bluetooth certification.

That probably translates into the slate currently being in the early stages of development. Anyway, as you might have guessed, not much is known about the Galaxy Note 12.2 specification wise.

But to compile the available rumors for you, the larger tablet might come packing a 12.2-inch display, powered by a 1.9GHz octa-core processor (possibly Exynos) plus 3GB of RAM.

The display resolution will certainly be a major customer drawing point, featuring 2500 x 1600 pixels and will support the S Pen.

No information is available about the kind of Android version to come pre-installed with the slate, but since the device is still in an early stage we might even end up seeing Android 4.4 KitKat.
